My sessions are unique to each client and to each day. Are you wanting to focus primarily on relaxation or nervous system rebalance? Or perhaps you need focused injury treatment, pain relief, or support with a chronic issue?

At the beginning of each session I inquire into any intentions and goals you may have. Rather than relying on a rehearsed routine, my work blends techniques from a toolbox of modalities to address your needs and desires. My bodywork training is extensive and that allows me to include a wide array of both direct and subtle approaches to manual therapy. I adapt my style to your personal pressure preference, the sensitivity of an area, and the persistence of a tension pattern.

Some principles that guide my bodywork:

  • Less is often more, especially to a stressed system.

  • Tuning the balance of tension to promote float and ease.

  • If you can't breathe into an area of intensity, the pressure is too deep.

  • Assess and re-assess throughout the treatment.

  • In-the-moment presence is essential.

  • My primary goal is to achieve your goal.

Examples of therapeutic techniques I draw upon:

  • Trigger Point Therapy

  • Craniosacral Therapy

  • Tensegrity Release
